(ARA NEWS) – Kobane, Syria – The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant group (ISIL) executed on Saturday two Kurdish civilians in the town of Deir Hafer in the southern countryside of Aleppo city, north of Syria.
The ISIL-affiliated media outlets published photos showing two dead men tied on two trees, commenting that these are “two Kurdish mercenaries”.
Both men were reportedly shot in the head, before being tied to the trees and show to public in Deir Hafer town. The names of both men remained anonymous.
Last week, the al-Qaeda splinter ISIL group executed an underage boy on charges of “raping a woman and stealing her money” in the city Menbij in the northern countryside of Aleppo, local sources reported.
In the ISIL-held Raqqa city, similar incidents took place. Several civilians were reportedly executed by ISIL militants on charges of “violating Islamic law”.
ISIL’s executions are in most cases carried out in public.
